The alleged Fredericton shooter has been found fit to stand trial.
Matthew Vincent Raymond was sent for the fitness assessment last week and appeared in court yesterday afternoon where the results were revealed.
The 48-year-old is charged with four counts of first degree murder in the Aug. 10th shooting deaths of two police officers and two civilians in the provincial capital.
He will now be sent for a longer assessment to determine if he can be held criminally responsible.
His next court appearance is set for the 11th when it will be decided where the psychiatric assessment will take place and for how long.
