The Transportation Safety Board and CN Police are investigating after an employee was killed at the CN rail-yard in Edmunston Tuesday morning.
The 33-year-old man father of two was killed when a rail-car reversed at around 8:30 am.
Authorities have not released the man’s name.
It is the second serious incident involving a railway employee in the Martimes in the past two weeks.
A VIA rail employee was hit by a passenger trail on Nov. 23 in Truro, Nova Scotia and was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
