Man pleads guilty in ATV theft case

One of three people arrested in connection with the theft of an ATV in Neguac has pleaded guilty.

42-year-old Steven Legere from Lakeburn, 43-year-old Kevin Gionet from Moncton and a 38-year-old woman from Moncton were arrested Sunday.

The RCMP say they were in possession of an ATV taken from outside of a business in Neguac the night early.

Legere has now pleaded guilty to charges of possession of stolen property over five thousand dollars and breaching probation.

He will be sentenced on Feb. 21st and remains in custody.

Gionet will remain in custody until his next court appearance on Tuesday when he is expected to enter a plea.

The woman was released on a promise to appear at a later date.
