A Taymouth man has been identified as one of 18 Canadians killed when an Ethiopian Airlines flight crashed Sunday morning.
Peter DeMarsh was the chairperson of the International Family Forestry Alliance.
He was on his way to a conference on family-owned forests and climate change.
The Boeing 737 Max 8 was en-route to Nairobi, Kenya when it crashed just six minutes after take-off.
All 157 people on board the plane died.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
The Boeing 737 Max 8 is the same type of plane as used by an Indonesian Lion Air flight that crashed last year, soon after take off from Jakarta – killing 189 people.
